What is a SITZ BATH? A shallow bath in which only the hips, buttocks, & genitals are submerged in order to cleanse, ease pain, & promote therapeutic healing. Sitz baths are often used to help to heal hemorrhoids, ease period cramps, & provide postpartum relief while gently healing. This makes for a great baby shower gift!
DIRECTIONS Fill the reusable BATH BAG with approximately 1oz of SITZ SOAK & cinch closed. You now have options for how you use the soak. You may steep the BATH BAG as you would tea, in 1 cup of hot water for up to 20 minutes. Allow the tea to cool then add it to a shallow bath (or sits kit). Alternatively, you may place the filled BATH BAG on a bathtub faucet & allow comfortably warm water t run over it while you fill the tub to hip level. You may also toss a filled BATH BAG into warm water, agitating the bag if necessary, so the salts dissolve the botanicals infuse. Soak your perineum in the sitz bath for up to 20 minutes, 2-3 times a day or as directed by your doctor. STORE IN A DRY, COOL PLACE AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT. Use within 9 months of purchase. GOOD FOR UP TO 10 SOAKS.
